The game rules of Patience Klondike

If you choose to play Patience Klondike, you choose to start with whether you draw 1 or 3 cards from the remainder pile. You turn them over in either case, but you may only play the top card. The game table consists of 4 end piles, 1 leftover pile and 7 rows of cards ranging from 1 to 7 cards. Of these, the top card is always turned over. The end stacks are formed by the four different colors and symbols. These are red hearts, red diamonds, black spades and black clovers. You start with the Ace and you end with the King. The seven rows run the other way around and you start with the highest cards and place the lower cards on them. The cards used in Patience Klondike are Ace, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, the J (Jack or Jack), the Q (Queen or Queen) to the K (King or King). The king can be replaced by the thirteenth card, the queen by the twelfth card and the jack by the eleventh card. This means that each color and symbol consists of thirteen different cards. You are finished with the game when all end stacks are filled and the rest of the playing field is empty.
